Norwegian Refugee Council belatedly embraces localisation
Jan Egeland has championed the call for reform of a humanitarian aid system where Northern institutions control power and resources at the expense of local actors. Yet his own organisation, Norwegian Refugee Council, has dragged its feet. In an interview with Development Today, Egeland says NRC is now stepping up.
