Multi-party call to make biodiversity a cross-cutting priority in Finnish aid

The Finnish Development Policy Committee, which has members from all political parties, is calling for a dramatic increase in Finnish aid for environmental issues. Protection of biodiversity is a crucial piece in the SDG puzzle and a guarantor of both human rights and economic prosperity, yet it receives little attention in Finland’s development cooperation, a new study concludes.
