Carbon footprint of Nordic DFIs

Finnfund claims to be carbon negative, Norfund has no climate tally

Nordic development finance institutions differ wildly in the reporting of the climate impacts of their investments. Finnfund, a major forestry investor, claims to be carbon negative, while fertilizer and cement industries drive emissions in Danish IFU’s portfolio. Swedfund started its carbon accounting in 2016, Norfund has not yet done a review of its carbon footprint.
