Norway and South Africa call on OECD finance ministers to go beyond aid to fund global COVID19 gap

The finance ministers of Norway and South Africa have invited colleagues from OECD countries to a meeting to discuss the establishment of a mechanism to fund the USD 27 billion shortfall in the Access to COVID19 Tools Accelerator. One option being tabled is to frontload payments via the bond market.
