Nordics condemn Trump’s decision to cut WHO funding

News April 16, 2020

Nordic governments have roundly criticised President Donald Trump’s decision to halt funding to the World Health Organisation (WHO), saying the world now needs more coordination, not less. The US move comes at a time when WHO’s finances are hard pressed. The Nordic share of the agency’s funding is 3.25 per cent.
