Norway’s G20 path to global geopolitics

News January 17, 2025 / By: Bjørn H Amland

For a second year, Norway will be a guest country of the G20 on invitation from South Africa, which has taken over the G20 Presidency from Brazil. This gives Norway, a non-EU member, a unique opportunity to engage in geopolitics. Development issues have been at the heart of the G20 agenda as shaped by Brazil and South Africa.
