Historic shift in Swedish aid strategy

The new aid strategy puts migration and Swedish business interests at the centre of Swedish development cooperation, while humanitarian assistance and support for women and human rights defenders continue. The era of Sweden as a global leader in providing core funding to UN agencies appears to be over.
