World Bank chief David Malpass in Stockholm to finalise IDA negotiations

Donors and recipients are gathering in Stockholm this week to agree on a financing package worth over USD 80 billion for the poorest countries, managed by the World Bank’s arm IDA. China is expected to increase its contribution and bypass Sweden as the seventh largest donor.
