USD 100m pot for securing indigenous land rights

Norway has pledgedto spend USD 100 million for “work to secure the rights of indigenous peoples and other local communities that live in or from the rainforests”. The announcement was made at the 25th anniversary conference of the Rainforest Foundation in Oslo in September by Climate and Environment Minister Tine Sundtoft.
