OECD: Race for DAC helm comes down to a Danish-Norwegian duel

News November 29, 2022 / By: Bjørn H Amland

The contest to become Chair of the OECD’s Development Assistance Committee is now down to a tight race between the Danish veteran diplomat Carsten Staur and Norway’s former Development Minister Nikolai Astrup. Oslo and Copenhagen continue to lobby undecided donors, but Astrup appears to be in lead.
