Norway offers no money, no plan, and no narrative for increasing aid

Norway’s economy is set to grow by 60 per cent over two years, fuelled by skyrocketing energy prices in the wake of Russia’s war in Ukraine. Despite record-high economic growth which has triggered unprecedented revenues, the once generous donor is offering no expansion of its aid. Civil society leaders call for political leadership to revamp Norway’s role as the world faces multiple crisis.
