Ukrainian windmill, co-funded by four Nordic DFIs, hit by Russian rockets

Nordic aid-funded DFIs have invested EUR 80 million in Ukraine. One of their projects, the country’s largest windmill plant, Syvash, was hit by rockets on the first day of the Russian invasion. DFI investments are often not insured against war, but in the case of Syvash the owner has war insurance, which might recover financial losses.
