Secrecy surrounding Sida’s SEK 450 million guarantee for UNICEF vaccine procurement

Despite Sweden’s strong freedom of information laws, details of a Swedish guarantee to UNICEF for procurement of COVID vaccines and medical supplies are shrouded in a veil of secrecy. Sida says making the information public would damage UNICEF’s future “opportunities to cooperate with Sida and the Gates Foundation.”
