Status quo for Finnish aid next year, clouds on the horizon

The Finnish Ministry of Finance has presented an aid budget proposal for next year that is at roughly the same level as this year. It is a setback compared to the declared goal of raising Finnish aid to 0.7 per cent of GNI, and the government has already agreed to cut aid in 2023.
