Swedfund rolls back half its corona losses, but outlook is still grim

Companies in Swedfund’s portfolio have managed the corona crisis better than feared. The aid-funded investor reports pandemic-related losses at SEK 200 million, which is less than half the initial estimate for 2020. Maria Håkansson, the CEO of Swedfund, says many countries are experiencing a “massive socio-economic shock”. Risk and uncertainty are still high, she warns.
