Low-income countries are losing the race for coronavirus vaccine

While rich countries have reserved 6 billion doses of COVID 19 vaccine for themselves, low-income countries have not yet secured access to a single dose of vaccine, new data from Duke University shows. Experts say the promising Pfizer vaccine candidate, which requires ultra-cold storage, will be out of reach for poor countries.
