Costa Rica behind WHO initiative for pooled corona patents, weak support from rich countries

The OECD’s newest member Costa Rica has called for a platform to pool knowledge and intellectual property on all coronavirus treatments and vaccines to secure access for poor countries. Today the World Health Organisation (WHO) launches this as a global initiative, but only a few rich countries like Norway and the Netherlands have supported it so far.
