Norway pilots direct funding of local humanitarian actors in Syria, Sudan and Myanmar

Three humanitarian funds that channel most of their support directly to local and national actors - in Syria, Sudan and Myanmar - will receive Norwegian funding over the next three years. The donor’s new approach emerges after years of calls from Global South groups for a shift in the power balance within the humanitarian system.
