The CEO of Gavi Sania Nishtar navigates a fine line as she gears up for the vaccine agency’s sixth replenishment this week. She will ask donors for USD 9 billion to finance Gavi’s largest-ever budget, while at the same time starting the discussion about setting an end date for the organisation.
