In a last-minute move, a parliamentary majority added billions of crowns to Norway’s 2025 fiscal budget, boosting aid for Palestine and capital for the Climate Investment Fund. The opposition accused the government of breaking with budget protocol, and the Christian Democratic Party, reincarnated as Israel’s staunchest Norwegian ally, opposed giving more Palestine aid.
