Norwegian deputy foreign minister: Israeli NGO Monitor carries out ‘smear campaigns’ against humanitarians

Relief agencies working in Gaza reject claims by the Jerusalem-based organisation NGO Monitor, accusing them of being complicit with the Hamas regime. NGO Monitor says to Development Today that it aims to convince donors to reduce funding for certain humanitarian organisations. Neither Sweden nor Norway appear to be swayed. State Secretary Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik says NGO Monitor has an anti-Palestinian agenda and has carried out smear campaigns against countries and organisations.
