Norway scales up Ukraine support, Norfund receives new mandate

Norwegian MPs have agreed to more than double civilian and military aid for Ukraine next year to NOK 35 billion (EUR 3b). In a revised budget, the government adds another NOK 5 billion for Ukraine this year. The aid-funded investor Norfund is given a new mandate for investments in the war-torn country with higher loss provisions than for investments in other countries.
