Norfund gets green light to invest in Ukraine

The government has finally opened for Norfund, Norway’s development finance institution (DFI), to invest in Ukraine. The DFI now receives initial capital of NOK 250 million this year from the Nansen aid programme for Ukraine, but martial law restrictions on cross-border payments could slow Norfund’s equity investments in the country.
