UN resolution asks World Court to lay out Israel’s obligations to secure aid for Palestinians

A Norwegian-led UN resolution calling for the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to clarify Israel’s obligations to facilitate “unhindered provision” of urgent supplies to Palestinians won broad support at the UN General Assembly this week. Despite initial scepticism, all large European powers voted in favour.
