Finnish government terminates cooperation with four countries

Half of the austerity cuts in Finnish development cooperation will be achieved by terminating bilateral aid programmes in Kenya, Mozambique, Afghanistan, and Myanmar, Finland’s Development and Trade Minister Ville Tavio says. UN agencies and humanitarian efforts will also experience significant reductions.
