Finland balances humanitarian aid for Palestinians with support to Israeli Red Cross

Following the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel and the subsequent war in Gaza, the Finnish government is providing support for the Israeli Red Cross and for the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. The fate of development aid to Palestinian territory and other bilateral priority countries will meanwhile be decided in the coming weeks.
