Norwegian aid surpasses 1% of GNI, but the government is still taking heat

Last fall the Norwegian government was heavily criticised after presenting a budget with the lowest aid level in decades. Subsequently, billions of crowns have been added and Norwegian aid is now predicted to reach 1.11% of GNI this year. Still, the criticism has not let up.
