New DAC Chair opens for tougher advocacy role to safeguard ODA

Charlotte Petri Gornitzka takes over as Chair of the DAC at a moment when the very definition of aid is being stretched by donors, almost beyond recognition. The Paris-based aid watchdog needs to act to keep donors in line and preserve its own relevance and credibility, she says to Development Today.
