Re-defining aid for health systems

The ebola epidemic laid bare in the starkest possible way how weak health systems can leave countries exposed. In the wake of the crisis, donor focus is shifting towards the need to build up basic health systems in the poorest countries. The critique by Norwegian medical anthropologist Katerini Storeng is therefore timely.
