Challenges basic Swedish assumptions

The more democracy societies have, the more well-off their citizens, right? Not according to the latest report commissioned by the Swedish evaluation group, EBA. Written by Bo Rothstein and Marcus Tannenberg from the University of Gothenburg, the study challenges one of the most basic assumptions of Swedish development cooperation: that democracy is the key factor for human well-being.
