Burma peace envoy. ‘Not buying support for ceasefires’

In the fall of 2007, the streets of Burma’s cities filled with Buddhist monks and ordinary people demanding national reconciliation. Dubbed the Saffron Revolution, this marked the largest pro-democracy demonstrations since 1988.
