New billions to GAVI for vaccine roll out

International donors, led by the United Kingdom, the Gates Foundation and Norway, have pledged USD 4.3 billion to the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation (GAVI), exceeding the agency’s fund-raising target by USD 600 million.
