Bypassing Africa. Donors pour climate aid into emission reductions

Two key reports on climate aid financing - one by the OECD and one by the UN African Climate Policy Centre - show that donors are failing miserably to live up to past promises.

Funds are not “new and additional”, they are inadequate, and the overwhelming emphasis on mitigation over adaption serves donors interests over those of African countries.
