Donors hold back SEK 1 billion from Zambia

The corruption scandal of 2009 in Zambia’s Health Ministry has been an expensive business for the government. An overview by Development Today reveals that over the past two and a half years donors have held back aid worth a total of SEK 1 billion.

They worry, however, about the impacts of these cuts on rural health services. Sweden has made efforts to mitigate the damage.
