Development aid is changing, but is here to stay

The boundaries between public and private aid, and bilateral and multilateral aid, have become blurred. Yet as the channels for aid delivery proliferate, global goals and mechanisms have extremely long time perspectives. International aid, in its increasingly complex forms, will continue for a long time to come.
