New Danish aid strategy silent on private sector schemes

A new Danish aid policy puts job creation in Africa and human rights at the top of the agenda. Despite a strong focus on the private sector in aid there is no call for an overhaul of Danish private sector tools.

The strategy states that Danish aid is not to be tied to Danish companies, but says nothing about IFU and the mixed credits scheme, both of which are tied aid instruments.
