UK, US block common DAC rules for climate financing

As the UN High-Level Task Force on Climate Change Financing met for the first time in London March 31, hopes for achieving a common definition of “climate additionality" before 2012 were fading fast.

Both the United States and the United Kingdom, which chairs the task force, oppose discussion in the OECD/DAC on common rules for measuring climate aid.
