Local firm challenges Yara property deal in Dar es Salaam port

The Finnish-Dutch owned firm DSM Corridor Group (DSG) is investing millions of dollars in a fertiliser terminal in the port of Dar Es Salaam. DSG fears that it will be wiped out of business by the donor-backed Norwegian firm Yara, the world’s largest fertiliser producer, which has been granted land for its new terminal by the government on favourable terms.
