Missionpharma blacklisted by agencies in wake of investigation

Danish police are preparing to press charges against two individuals in the pharmaceutical supply company Missionpharma who are suspected of paying kickbacks in connection with a contract awarded to the firm in DRC in 2005.

Missionpharma’s CEO Kim Ginnerup professes innocence. He says sales have suffered in the past few years since UN agencies and the Global Fund declared the firm “temporarily ineligible”.
