Sida investigates huge annual transfers to state agencies

One in ten aid crowns handled by Sida is transferred to Swedish government agencies and universities without competitive tendering - SEK 3 billion during 2008 and 2009.

The Auditor General has criticised Sida’s relationship with state agencies. And Swedish private consultants complain that this is eating into their market. Now Sida has launched an investigation.
