Norway backs two horses in hydropower race

Norway is supporting the dams industry’s efforts to establish new international hydropower standards, while the EU already has standards, based on the World Commission on Dams, written into law. Norwegian NGOs argue for Norway to drop the industry process and get in line with the EU law.
