Danes link humanitarian aid to neutrality principle

Denmark’s humanitarian assistance will follow the principles of Good Humanitarian Donorship and respect the independence of humanitarian actors from political and military agendas.

The new direction signalled in the humanitarian aid strategy that was recently launched by Development Minister Ulla Tørnæs is praised by the government’s harshest NGO critics. But they are waiting to see whether words will be put into action.
