Civilian-military nexus to be integrated into new Danish defense strategy

Coordinated action between civilian and military actors will likely become more closely integrated into Denmark’s coming defense strategy. An on-going study of Danish experience in Iraq and Afghanistan will feed into negotiations on a new Defense Agreement to be negotiated next year. But NGOs worry that closer civilian-military cooperation can further erode independent humanitarian space.
