Norfund, SN Power launch new hydro company

Norfund has agreed with SN Power to commit USD 700 million (NOK 4.9b) in equity for a new hydropower investment company targeting Africa and Central America. The commitment is part of a deal where Norfund sells a 10 per cent stake in SN Power to Statkraft for NOK 1.1 billion.
