World Bank seeks redefined role as its power in global aid shrinks

A new World Bank report analyses the role of the Bank’s soft loan arm the International Development Association (IDA) in the new global aid architecture. This background document has been prepared for the IDA 15 replenishment negotiations, which could well turn out to be a crossroads for IDA.
