Nordic Africa policies: think ‘outside the box’

The Nordic governments have again been reviewing their policies toward Africa. Swedish Africa scholar Göran Hydén challenges them to re-think their extreme loyalty to multilateralism and donor coordination, and instead to adopt bold, creative, Nordic approaches that fit Africa’s realities.

Göran Hydén is Distinguished Professor of Political Science at the University of Florida.
