Jacobsen Elektro to build oil thermal plant in Uganda

The guarantee institute GIEK has issued a guarantee for the Norwegian firm Jacobsen Elektro for a heavy fuel oil thermal plant in Uganda. The plant is being built to ease the energy crisis in Uganda, but has been delayed for almost a year because the decision to award the contract to Jacobsen was disputed by competitors.
