The way to peace in Darfur

To achieve a sustainable peace in Darfur international guarantees and development efforts are required. Whatever the costs of humanitarian aid, reconstruction and peacekeeping, continuation of the conflict is certainly the most costly alternative, writes Pekka Haavisto.
