A new course for Swedish aid

After almost three months in office, her first visits to Tanzania and Zambia and initial meetings with colleagues in other donors countries, Sweden’s new Development Minister Gunilla Carlsson is both impressed with the commitment of her field staff and certain that the direction of Swedish aid needs to change.
