‘Minister of Chickens’

DT readers will recall the bout of Malawian chicken fever that attacked the Danish media last year and briefly engaged the Danish public in the plight of the poor. (See DT 3/04) During his brief tenure as Development Minister, Bertel Haarder seems to have found the cure by admitting that the Danish government caused some harm when it abruptly closed down its projects in Malawi in 2002.
